Three miles south of town and an easy bike ride via the popular bike path. Surfside is the beach with the best scoping options and all the required facilities (restrooms and snack bar). The downside is that it can get very crowded on the weekends.

You will need a boat or a four-wheel drive vehicle to access the most beautiful part of Nantucket. Miles and miles of empty beach with an occasional Jeep or boat pulled up on shore. The Striped Bass run right off the point so bring your fishing rod for some of the best surf casting around!
