If you only have one night in South Beach, the plethora of choices can leave you dazed and confused! Simply follow Debbie’s lead and let her help you max it out with an hour-by-hour play for the best night time route:

Head to the Marlin Hotel for a quick drink around 8pm (1200 Collins Ave.). Then cruise around the corner to the Hotel Astor’s bar (downstairs) around 8:45 for another pre-dinner liquid treat. The action should just be heating up here. Order up the famous curry smoked chicken wontons for a little appetizer while taking in the scene (956 Washington Ave.). 9:30 should be peak viewing hours at Pacific Time. Reservations are crucial here! (915 Lincoln Road).

After dinner, walk over to the Delano and do the after dinner drink thing either at the Rose Bar in the Lobby, or outside by the pool bar. This should take you to midnight or so. (1685 Collins Ave.). Grab a cab and cruise down to the club strip on Washington Ave. between 6th and 7th. Check out the Living Room which starts to rock around 1am (671 Washington Ave.) By 2am Bash should be in full swing next door (655 Washington). To go more upscale than Bash, check out the new Chaos club Thursdays-Saturdays (734 Washington). If you are still awake at 4am and want to soak up the buzz, grab a late night snack around the corner at The News Cafe. It’s open all night (800 Ocean).

It’s now 5am. GO TO BED! But don’t sweat it. This is South Beach. No one gets up before noon. BACK TO TOP
