| It doesn’t get much better than roller blading or biking along the path from Venice to the Pacific Palisades. Rentals are available all along the boardwalk near most of the major parking lots. The scoping is fast and furious on weekends as literally thousands of scantily-clad, buffed out beauties of both sexes zoom by. Take note: It’s easy to wipe out on the sand drifts while enjoying the "scenery!" Look down or go slow. Stop at Back To The Beach, a charming café right on the beach, for lunch. Great food, great view. | |

| Find anyone you can to let you in as their guest for a day. This place is the Taj Mahal of sports clubs. There is more attitude here than in many of L.A.’s top dining spots. Boob jobs and g-strings abound as do cell phones and Porches that are valet parked. Lots of successful "industry types" work out here as well as those who scraped together the monthly fee in order to rub biceps with them. Not to be missed. NYC’s Sports club Reebok is its sister club. |
