Garden of Eden Cherry-Mixed The West End 217 The Pink
| GARDEN OF EDEN | |
| Total T&A fest...classic Los Angeles...great if you like that sort of thing ...great if you hate that sort of thing (trust us, you’ll laugh all night long). It’s so bad it’s good...but once you’ve done it, you’ve done it. It’s where the lunch crowd from Le Petit Four goes to party, and not a one on the dance floor’s got a day job. | |
| CHERRY-MIXED | |
| It doesn’t get edgier than this...Glam rock at it’s best...Bryan Rabin, L.A.’s social Boy Wonder, started this Friday night event over two years ago, and unlike most clubs, it keeps getting better with age. If you’re up for seeing an impromptu performance by a topless Courtney Love, or you’ve always wondered what Marilyn Manson looked like up close, then this is your place. You might also want to check out actor-on-the-rise Alexis Arquette’s drag act (yes, Rosanna’s brother). Ten dollar cover that’s worth every penny. | |
|
THE WEST END SANTA MONICA
| A Friday night fixture for many years on the West Side. A casual alternative to 217 down the street. | |
|
217 SANTA MONICA | |
| Located just steps from the 3rd Street Promenade, 217 offers a dancing outlet for the young or young at heart. The space is small and intimate, and usually guarantees a good time. | |
|
THE PINK SANTA MONICA | |
| Enter off the back alley parking behind Main Street for that late night, dirty dancing experience. This institution is for those into the "salt and pepper" thing (black and white mix). It also serves the purpose for many as that last stop of the evening, where all types go maul their dates with drunken abandon. It’s a tiny concrete box of a place. This joint is basic and some might argue not even worth the cover charge. However, basic can be fun as long as you have a serious attitude adjustment first. |
