**NEW**Miracle of Science Wally's Cafe The Rack Newbury Pizza Fenway Park The Barking Crab | ||||||||||||||
Slummin’It can be chic or it can be shabby. Boston falls into the latter category. Be forewarned though, the cheaper the joint, the younger the crowd. Can you say Frat party?

FOOD

**NEW** | MIRACLE OF SCIENCE 321 MASSACHUSETTS AVE, CAMBRIDGE (617) 868-2866
You want a cold beer, a fat and juicy burger or grilled Chicken sandwich but want to leave the "MASSHOLES" at home? Head straight for the Miracle of Science. It’s cheap and hip. The Miracle is filled with a smattering of high tech start-up dudes, MIT leftovers and a few gays. Debbie does this weekly. Open for lunch or dinner. And for the sport freaks out there: yes there is TV.

NEWBURY PIZZA | 225 NEWBURY STREET, BOSTON (617) 536-9451
OK. So it may be right in the truly trendy Newbury Street, but Newbury Street Pizza offers up some of the best pizza in town. Period. End of story!

FENWAY PAHHHHK!
|
Ya can’t beat a Fenway Frank and a couple a "beahs" at Fenway Pahhhhk!. Best hot dog around and the baseball team doesn’t suck either!
|
THE BARKING CRAB | 88 SLEEPER STREET (ON NORTHERN AVENUE BRIDGE), BOSTON (617) 426-2722
Slummin’ it in quintessential Bostonian style! No attitude here just lots of fresh lobster, crabs and fish. It rocks on the weekends during the summer.

NIGHT LIFE
|
WALLY’S CAFÉ | 427 MASS AVE., BOSTON, MA (617) 424-1408
No cover, The best jazz in town and really cheap bears. All worlds collide in this South End jazz club. You can be 18 or 80 and be guaranteed a good time. Wally’s is one of the oldest clubs around and probably one of the only organic jazz and blues clubs left in this uptight city. If you are a musician be sure to hit it during Open Jam night!
|
THE RACK BILLIARDS CLUB | 24 CLINTON STREET, BOSTON (617) 725-1051
While the Rack does have some bogus dress code (men need collard shirts or something) it still rocks! It is perfect for an all-in-one slummin’ it kind of night where you can shoot some pool, dance, and even eat some appetizers. The crowd manages to be relatively cool even thought the club sits on the edge of Faneuil Hall, which typically means crowds as cheesy as melted Velveeta. Not so with the Rack. Debbie had one of her wildest birthday parties ever here. Hey, ya can’t do the glam thing all the time! Sometimes a hard body and a pool table can be quite the turn on!
