CIAO BELLA | 309 PHARR ROAD BUCKHEAD (404) 261-6013
The sound of the beautiful Italian music will bring you back to Venice. The atmosphere is casual and the Italian cuisine is authentic. Molto bene, bella!! It’s small and quaint with décor and ambience that makes it seems like it’s been around for a hundred years. The prices are super reasonable ranging from $7 - $12. Unfortunately, they don’t have lunch hours, so Debbie indulges from 5:30 – 10:30 PM.

EATZI’S | 3221 PEACHTREE RD. BUCKHEAD (404) 237-2266
If Italian’s your dish, tuck that napkin in your collar ala old school and pig on out! There’s more food in this Italian eatery than you could ever imagine. Pasta salad, lasagna, fresh seafood and poultry, the list goes on. Get as little or as much as your heart (or pocket) desires because it’s all measured, babe. Did I forget to mention fresh gourmet bread??? It’s set up kind of like a market, but it’s just the right size. There’s a small eating area off to the side, but why eat indoors? Grab your honey, get it to go and have a picnic in Piedmont Park.

WYNDHAM MIDTOWN | 125 TENTH STREET MIDTOWN (404) 873-4800
Right in the heart of Midtown and only a hop, skip and a jump (in these pumps?!?) from Atlanta’s hot spots. The Wyndham is an excellent and practical (yes, even Debbie has her moments!) choice to stay for the weekend. The service is quite good and the décor is quite unique. Lots of businessmen stay here while visiting the city, so if you’re looking to nab one, not a bad spot to be in (just beware of ring-around-the-ring-finger). It seems like every weekend I see limos lined up out front, what’s really going on??? Debbie loves the mystique! Rooms start from around $145 (including breakfast).

THE WORLD BAR | 3071 PEACHTREE RD. BUCKHEAD (404) 266-0627
This is the only place in Atlanta where you can get drinks for $2, which is usually a concept your truly is opposed to. But it ain’t bad if you’re on a budget. Whatever your poison… beer, liquor – there’s always plenty in stock. Not to mention, you can choose to chill out on the upper level and scope the scene or dance your butt off downstairs. Lots of singles hangin’ out here for the good clean fun.

HOWELL MILL OUTLETS | ATLANTA
Fab shops, discount prices, what shop-a-holic complain!? They’re so many gems in this area that I can’t mention just one. But if I was put under extreme measures of torture (not always a bad thing!), I would say my favorite is AJS shoe outlet. Amelda Marcos, watch out, girlfriend!! Coming from Buckhead, take I-75 south, exit Howell Mill Rd. and take a left. Travel about 3 – 4 blocks and make a right on Chattahoochee St. and land in shopping paradise. AJS carries everything from Charles David to Via Spiga for reasonable prices. Make sure to check out the other shops for men and women that line the streets. They’re only open Friday – Sunday until 6:00 p.m. Don’t miss out!!!
