CREATOR OF debbieguide.com:
Diana Shoolman

Diana Shoolman
Diana has made her life’s mission to be the first to know what’s hot and where it’s happening both here and abroad. She was one of the first check-ins at Starwood’s W Hotel and at Ian Schrager’s Delano. She was recently spotted in St. Barths toasting in the New Year on a private yacht with Hollywood’s movers and shakers and the French fashion set.

Diana’s taste for the La Dolce Vita began at age three when she asked her parents, "Don’t you think it’s time we did Europe?" She settled for cruising the Caribbean and had to wait until age ten to do London. From the time she could read, she would pour over the Sunday Travel Section in the local paper looking for where to go next. Not satisfied, she started doing her own research.

Since then she has lived in LA, Saint Tropez, The French Alps, the Swiss Alps, the Caribbean, New York City, Newport, RI, and now calls Boston a part-time home-base. She’s often caught at the city’s hottest music spots sitting in as guest drummer with Beantown’s best bands.

After graduating from Duke University, she leveraged her knowledge of all that is hip into major business ventures. She founded Festive Enterprises and The Boston Social Club, two corporations which specialized in organizing large scale events like the "intimate" charities at local venues for 2,000 of Boston’s fabulous set.

Diana got her introduction to the Hollywood scene at an early age when she started acting in films and television at fourteen. After fifteen years in "the business" Diana decided it was time to produce and develop her own television shows. She created and produced many television projects including one for a major Hollywood studio based on world wide special events (the poor man’s Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous). In her "free" time, Diana is a telecommunications consultant. Major corporations (Nynex, Bell Atlantic) as well as start-ups have all utilized her strongest asset: seeking out voids in a given marketplace and filling them with inventive and profitable businesses.

Always one step ahead of the pack, Diana found herself to be the unofficial travel guide among her peers. That’s when she realized that a travel and resource guide for those who have resources (or want to look like they do) was much in demand.

And thus, with the culmination of these two very unique careers, one more void was filled with the birth of debbiguide.com. BACK TO TOP
